Meet the Owner
When it came time to find the right place for my mom, first in independent living, then assisted living, I had no idea where to start. I felt lost at a moment when our family needed clarity most. That experience never left me, and it’s a big reason why I’m here today.
I’m Cameron Boswell, and I’m proud to bring Trua Senior Living Locators to the Portland metro area, a community my family has called home for over 30 years.
My background is in technology, where I spent 17 years solving complex problems, most recently as a product manager. I’ve always been drawn to untangling hard situations and helping people find a clear path forward. For years, I wanted to do work that felt meaningful in a deeper way. This is it.
What I bring to every family is a commitment to listening first — understanding your loved one’s specific needs and diagnoses — then matching them to a community where they can truly thrive long term. No guesswork. No pressure. And always completely free for families.
Behind the scenes, I’m supported by my wife Hilarie, a former elementary school teacher turned women’s pastor. For years, she has walked alongside senior women through life’s biggest transitions, led programs they’ve depended on, and shown up for them in their most vulnerable moments. Her perspective and compassion are woven into everything we do.
